Sr. Safa Alqudah

Safa Alqudah is a Marriage and Family Therapist with graduate degrees in Human Development and Family Sciences and Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas Woman’s University. She currently practices as a therapist in private practice, providing counseling to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Her clinical work is grounded in evidence-based care, and she has received specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) along with a variety of other therapeutic modalities.

In addition to her clinical practice, Safa is an ijazah-certified Quran instructor with over a decade of teaching experience. She has taught Quran recitation, memorization, and Tajweed to students of all ages in and is passionate about making Islamic education engaging, structured, and accessible. Her combined background in mental health and Islamic education allows her to bring a unique, faith-informed perspective to the classroom.
Safa’s teaching philosophy emphasizes bridging theory with practical application while fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment. She is passionate about equipping students with the knowledge, critical thinking skills, and confidence to effectively serve their families and communities. She hopes to inspire students to approach counseling with compassion, cultural humility, and professional excellence while encouraging a deeper appreciation for the growing need for qualified Muslim mental health professionals.
