DR. DALIA EL METWALLY

Adjunct Faculty

Teaching and students are Dr. Dalia’s passion. Dr. Dalia is a professor of English and Communications for over 28 years. She is currently a professor of English and Communications at Houston City College (formally known as Houston Community College). She teaches research methodologies, writing, communications, literature, and technical English. As the Principal of Maryam Islamic Center School and one of ICNA teachers (Islamic Circle of North America), she passes on her knowledge of Quran and Islam to teachers and students. Dr. Dalia teaches a combined Research Methodology and English 101 class at Guidance College.

Dr. Dalia completed her Ph.D. and Master’s Degree in English with a concentration in Linguistics at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. With Allah’s grace, Dr. Dalia is fluent in English and Arabic and speaks conversational French.
