Shaykh Dr. Ali Ahmed has been active in the American Muslim community, from California to New York, since 2000. After receiving his B.Sc. in Biochemistry and working in the biotech field for several years, he began traveling to various parts of the world to further his Islamic knowledge and better serve Muslims in the West.
After studying for more than 12 years, Dr. Ali Ahmed earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sharī’ah, a Master’s degree in Fiqh & Uṣūl al-Fiqh with summa cum laude honors, and a Ph.D. in Islamic Judiciary (Qaḍā), with a special focus on arbitration and mediation in Muslim Family Law. He has authored books and several academic papers on fatwa, Muslim Family Law, the Islamic judiciary system, and its impact on Muslims living as minorities in the West.
Currently, he serves as a Resident Scholar and Advisor and is involved with several Islamic organizations in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Malaysia, providing one-on-one and group mentorship, workshops, seminars, spiritual guidance, and advice.
